We are currently in a period of pastor transition.

For the coming weeks, we have guest preachers visiting us providing us with the Word of God in our sermon time

Our next step will be to call an Interim Pastor who will be with us as our Search Committee completes the process of calling a new, permanent pastor.

Rest assured, UCA has a strong leadership team that continues to do the Lord's work in our church!

Who We Are

United Church of Auburn    77 Metcalf Drive   Auburn, New York 13021

About UCA

We are a diverse congregation, representing varying age groups, socioeconomic strata, and church backgrounds (including those with no church background).  Our little congregation includes retirees, kids, blue-collar workers, single parents, professionals, and those who are currently unemployed.

Our building is accessible to people with limited mobility, and we provide listening devices for the hard-of-hearing.

Children's church happens during the worship service, but children who are not disruptive are encouraged to stay in the sanctuary.

Nearly every worship service features a short children's sermon.

We offer Sunday school after worship and a mid-week Bible study
.

Come on in!

We are a micro-church, where it's not hard to learn everyone's name!

Come as you are.  Some of us wear neckties, and some wear blue jeans.

We sing hymns from the 1860's, and praise songs from the 2000's and everything in between.

Our worship services are not very liturgical - that is to say, they are quite informal.  Our sole objective is to glorify God.  We perform for an audience of One.

We believe in the Bible as the inspired, authoritative word of God, which is our sole authority for belief and practice.  We preach the Bible from the pulpit and teach the Bible in Sunday school and on Wednesday afternoons.

We are affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of New York State and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
